Privacy Policy

Effective August 14, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Market Maker Portal (“Market Maker Portal,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, protects, and shares information through the Market Maker Portal at portal.marketmakermgmt.com (the “Portal”). The Portal is a private workspace for our clients and staff to manage the growth of a client’s YouTube channel. By using the Portal, you agree to the practices described here.

Information we collect

  • Account information — your name, email address, and the credentials you use to sign in.
  • Client & channel information — details about your business and YouTube channel(s) that you or your team provide so we can do our work (e.g., channel name, links, goals, and notes).
  • Content & files — footage, edits, thumbnails, scripts, and other assets uploaded to the Portal, plus comments and approvals on them.
  • Messages — communications you send to your account team through the Portal.
  • YouTube Analytics data — if you choose to connect your analytics (see below), the performance data and search terms we retrieve on your behalf.
  • Usage & device data — basic technical information (such as log data) generated when you use the Portal, used to keep it secure and working.

YouTube & Google user data

The Portal offers an optional feature that connects to your YouTube Analytics using Google’s OAuth. You authorize it yourself from your Stats page, and you can disconnect at any time. When connected, we request read-only access under these Google scopes:

  • .../auth/yt-analytics.readonly — to read your channel’s analytics reports, including the top search terms that bring viewers to your videos.
  • .../auth/youtube.readonly — to identify which of your channels the authorization applies to.

The Portal uses YouTube API Services. By connecting your analytics you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service, and Google’s handling of your data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.

We use this data for a single purpose: to help our team optimize your channel — informing the titles, thumbnails, keywords, and content we produce for you. We do not sell it, use it for advertising, or share it with third parties for their own purposes. Access tokens are encrypted at rest, stored on our secured servers, never exposed to your browser or other clients, and used only by our team on your behalf.

Limited Use. Market Maker Portal’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

How we use information

  • To operate the Portal and provide our channel-management services to you.
  • To produce, review, and improve the content and optimization work we do for your channel.
  • To communicate with you about your account, content, and support requests.
  • To keep the Portal secure, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed to run the service:

  • Service providers — trusted vendors that host our infrastructure and database, process payments, deliver notifications, and provide AI processing used to assist our work. They may access data only to perform services for us and are bound to protect it.
  • Your team — the Market Maker Portal staff assigned to your account, plus administrators, who use the Portal to do your work.
  • Legal — when required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our clients, our team, or the public.

How we protect information

We use industry-standard safeguards including encryption in transit, encryption at rest for sensitive credentials such as OAuth tokens, access controls that limit data to the staff working on your account, and audited server-side access to sensitive records. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep your information safe.

Data retention

We keep information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service and meet legal, accounting, or reporting requirements. When you disconnect YouTube Analytics, we ask Google to revoke the related access tokens and delete them from our systems, and cached analytics for that channel are removed.

Your choices

  • Disconnect analytics — revoke the Portal’s access to your YouTube Analytics at any time from your Stats page, or via the Google security settings page.
  • Access & correction — contact us to access, update, or correct your information.
  • Deletion — request deletion of your account and associated data, subject to legal retention requirements.

Children

The Portal is intended for business use by adults and is not directed to children under 18.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Effective” date above and, where appropriate, notify you through the Portal.
